Field of Flags

I saw this memorial at a church in Ridgefield, CT on my way to work a prom.  I knew that I would have to stop to photograph it on my way home.

So there I was laying in a parking lot, crouched down on the sidewalk, and standing in the middle of the road at midnight in a light rain that was coming and going.
I used a few SB-800s to light a few of these,  probably confused a few people driving by...lol.

Thanks J

Came across this funny pic of myself while trying to clean up my hard drive.  A buddy of mine from work took it. Thats another coworker, Kimmie, in the background.  Thought it would make a nice avatar for a while.

New Blogger

Hey out there,
So I've been spending some time on-line just looking around at some wedding photography stuff and came across a bunch of photographers that are posting on here.  Seemed like a fun thing to do and a good way to meet some new people.
Been putting some effort into getting back into weddings lately.  Its tough going through a bunch of old images trying to make some samples...a lot of things have changed since I last shot a wedding.  I know it sounds like I'm some old timer but I'm not, just 26, really its my photography that has changed.  I got into this business young and had some health issues that forced me to sit on the sideline for a while.
When I wrapped up my health issues I took a position with Lifetouch, and since then I have been primarily shooting senior portraits and managing the photography team in the southern zone of the territory that I work for.  Unfortunately all the work I do for them is theirs and I cant use any of it for my own promotion(darn).
With my weekends available over the summer I've decided to get back into weddings.  I really love the work that I've been seeing on-line and get can't to get back in the game
